Walking Ollie pissed me off. A book about the adoption of a dog that rips on all adopted dogs and how the issues the dog has must be because the dog is rescued since all dogs that were bought and not rescued are perfectly normal. This is all I will say less I start spewing profanity.

Oh grrr! That’s a pass.
Mango Momma
Mom read a book called The Dog With The Broken Ear…she liked it alot!

Ruh Roh – I’ll warn my mom to stay very far away from this book!
Stewey
ugh, I felt that way about the Jon Katz book. He goes out and gets a difficult breed and then fails it utterly. I have no sympathy, if only poeple would do breed research. I know I couldnt handle a border collie which is why I have pugs/ As for adopted dogs being difficult, Norbert is adopted as where our late dogs Dr. Z and Bingo and t hey where all pretty easy, peasy. Weasley is from a breeder and has needed to be taught to walk on a leash and to silent his block, all dogs need training
Hi Y’all,
Dogs are like people…put several dogs through the same ordeal and most will suffer no ill effects if adopted into a loving home where they can trust the humans and life is consistant. One dog of the three or four, like a person who needs psychiatric help, needs to learn to trust all over again.
There are no bad dogs. If they are treated kindly and consistently, any dog will become the “best dog you ever had”…

Not to mention the decision to take a dog with no recall on a no leash walk near a heavy traffic area.
This guy is as clueless as Marley’s owner (another dufus writing about how bad an owner and dog partner he really is.)
Where is the people-shaming site for these idiots?
