When we heard about the world tour that Pip and Puddles are going on, we had to invite them up to Alaska!
We were planning all sorts of fun outings: hiking in the snow, playing in the snow at the park, dog sledding in the snow, playing fetch in the snow.
Puddles seemed less than thrilled with our ideas.
We tried convincing both of them that if Big Carl can handle the snow, then surely they could!
They weren’t having any of it. They were more content to join in my pups other favorite past time of hanging out in front of the fireplace.
Then we came up with an idea that really caught Pip’s interest. We would visit some of our favorite restaurants/breweries!
While we know they are fans of cheap beer and cheeto’s, we decided to do it a little more upscale.
Our first stop was Moose’s Tooth. Home of the best pizza and awesome brew. We had an awesome meat covered pizza (called Santa’s Little Helper) and some delicious Northern Lights Amber
Next up was Midnight Sun Brewing Company. We munched on a Brewer’s Plate (all meats and cheeses) and some homemade pretzels with beer cheese sauce. We washed it all down with some yummy Fallen Angel Belgian Golden.
Last but not least we went to Glacier Brewhouse. They couldn’t leave Alaska without having some of our yummy salmon and an oatmeal stout.
Overall the visit was TONS of fun and we just know they loved what AK had to offer.

Yum!! You guys are great hosts!
Oh my Oh MY! I wish I could have tagged along with Pip and Puddles. I bet they had the time of their lives with all the GOOD beer and eats. Next time you want to host someone I volunteer (MOM said she wants to come too). I even would love to play in the snow with Big Carl and the rest of the pack. I bet Pip and Puddles had a good sleep after all the food and beer. And what a perfect place to cuddle up in front of the fire. What a wonderful tour Mr. Pip is having.
Blessings,
Goose
oh yum,yum
Nice visit and a lovely place you live but a bit too cold for us, if mom lived there she would never go outside

Well, I have always known Big Carl was much tougher than me …look at him take on that snow like a dog three times his size! He is a role model for little dogs everywhere! Go BIG CARL!!
You sure know how to party up there in Alaska!
There’s absolutely nothing like curling up by a warm fire …
…except maybe MEAT pizza and beer. My assistant is going to be SO JEALOUS when she reads about these wonderful breweries. Maybe I should bring some home to her …no, too heavy to carry, better just drink another pint!
Now that looks so cozy – curled up next to the fire but I am sure the Pizza and beer really made their visit. Those two must be getting pretty tired by now so I am sure they enjoyed recuperating a little.
What a great way to spend da day!

It’s so nice to have friends to stay:) Pip and Puddles are4 so cute and can’t blame them for not wanting to go out in the snow, as both only have short legs:)
We can’t BELIEVE that Big Carl likes the Snow…
Now about this Brew Tour… It looks GRRRREAT and we are CERTAINLY glad that you have PLENTY of super Pictures of it… beclaws we DOUBT that Pip and Puddles will even remember any of it!!! Just sayin.

Yay for a visit to one of my Mom’s favorite places…actually Alaska was on Mom’s bucket list too. She and Dad visited in May 2005 for their 35th anniversary.
I think your idea of cafe and brewery was excellent that way you could stay warm.
Hugs madi
Ummm pizza and beer…ummmm

OMD! I sure hope Pip and Puddles are spending the night with you. After all that upscale beer, we know what can happen when Puddles drives (and it ain’t pretty.)
I’m sure right now they are passed out in front of your fireplace all snug and warm. Big Carl is probably teasing Puddles right about now about being a snow woosie!
Thanks for being a great host, we too enjoyed the visit!
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
I think you just planned my husband’s Alaskan vacation. That’s a lot of good beer! I know Pip and Puddles appreciated all the suds and good food.
More salmon and beer, please!
Food and snow. It looks like a great adventure.

Hi Y’all!
I’m not a fan of snow either. I prefer swimming and water sports. Sigh…
The Humans would love dining with you on fresh salmon…I’d like some too, please…
Y’all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Sounds like a perfect day!
Hugs,
Deja vu all over again. Pip and Puddles visit a beautiful country with inclement weather and opt for alcohol over outdoor adventures.
Toodle pip!
Bertie (P+P’s Scottish host).
Wow all those breweries and the food sound great and the fireplace looks very inviting. We are freezing here today.
