Review – Sherpa Pet Group

In what seemed like ideal timing, Sherpa Pet Group, asked me if I wanted to review one of their pet carriers. This was shortly before the move from hell so I jumped at the opportunity. There was only one hitch, shipping was going to take 4-6 weeks and I was leaving in 2. No problem! I explained to the company that I had the perfect opportunity but would need it faster. They were able to make it happen!

A week later this arrived:

Now Big Carl has never been a fan of being in a bag. I tried to make him a purse dog but he was having none of it! Luckily this bag had an opening on the top so he could pop his head out and observe everything. This seemed to calm him no matter what was going on.

While on the plane I did have to close the top and he tried to dig himself out a few times but once we had taken off he was able to pop his head out again and calmed right back down. The bag also had no damage from his digging attempts.

Overall we give this product and company two thumbs up! Though here is hoping I don’t have to use this bag again any time soon ;)

  1. I debated getting one of these for the girls…and I cannot even imagine trying to keep them quiet while they were on a plane! Give you lots of credit for traveling all the way across the country! Great pics!! Love those shoes too! :)

  2. We’re glad that “Big Carl” liked the bag. I kind of outweigh him so my dad’s thinking it might not work so well for me. And definitely not for the four of us together.

  3. That timing couldn’t have come at a better time! I have been thinking about getting a carrier for both my cats to fit into but also be able to fit my little dog who is 15lb which is about the same weight as both the cats. Just wondering how big is Big Carl? Did he fit into it with enough room to reposition himself? I’d love to know just to get an insight into which carriers would work. Thanks!
